The Buy-A-Bird program is a fun and easy way for the public to support the mission of St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance – an organization that has a long heritage and puts Arizona on the map as the birthplace of the food banking movement. The Food Bank distributes hundreds of thousands of food every single day to more than 700 agency sites around the state. The holidays are an especially important time of year and it is when the Food Bank is fortunate enough to experience the generosity of Arizonans, but hunger is a year-round problem. Every dollar donated to the Food Bank becomes tangible meals for families and their children.
